Shipping Policy
DanceFlooringInc ships marley dance flooring and accessories to homes and businesses anywhere in the United States from our network of US warehouses.
Coverage
We currently ship within the United States only (50 states + DC). We do not ship to APO/FPO or US territories at this time; if you need flooring shipped to one of those, please contact us before ordering.
Carriers & delivery methods
- Small orders (mats, accessories, samples, small rolls) ship via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground to your door.
- Larger shipments — including full marley rolls up to 8 ft wide — ship via LTL freight on a pallet with complimentary liftgate service in most regions and curbside drop-off.
- Free samples ship via standard mail.
Processing time
- Standard orders: typically ship within 1–2 business days of order placement.
- Custom-cut orders (cut by the linear foot): typically ship within 3–5 business days, since each piece is cut to your specs after the order is placed.
- Dropshipped items (some Rosco lines): lead time depends on the manufacturer's stock — usually 5–10 business days. We'll notify you if your ETA is longer.
Delivery time
Most US deliveries arrive within 7 business days after they ship. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as the order leaves our warehouse.
Quick Ship & Next Day Ship (when available)
- Quick Ship: orders leave the warehouse in 1–3 business days.
- Next Day Ship: orders placed before 2 PM Eastern ship the same day or the next business day.
Availability varies by product — look for the badge on the product page, or contact us to confirm.
Shipping cost
Shipping cost depends on your order's weight, dimensions, and destination. Costs are calculated live at checkout, and we partner with multiple carriers to keep rates competitive. Free shipping may apply on specific products and promotions — it will be marked clearly on the product page and at checkout.
Curbside delivery — what to expect
For freight (LTL) deliveries:
- Someone must be present to inspect the shipment and sign for it.
- The carrier delivers the pallet curbside; they do not unload into your home or studio.
- Inspect the shipment before signing. If you see any damage, missing items, or shortages, note them on the delivery receipt and photograph the issue before signing. Report damage to us within 48 hours so we can file a claim with the carrier.
For door-step (FedEx/UPS) deliveries, you can track the package online and don't need to be home unless the carrier requires a signature.
Delays & weather
Carriers occasionally run late due to weather, traffic, or volume. We'll do our best to keep you informed if your shipment is delayed.
International shipping
We do not currently ship outside the United States. International dance studios, please contact us — we may be able to help arrange a freight forwarder or refer you to a regional partner.
